Finance Manager / COFA

We are looking for a Finance Manager / COFA to join the team. This position sits at the top of the Accounts department which is responsible for all aspects of the financial administration of the firm and its customers. The Finance Manager would be working closely with our Management Accountant, Managing Director and the stakeholders of the customer companies, and would also be responsible for line managing for all the staff in the accounts team. This role is a hybrid role with travel to our Kidlington office 2-3 times a week.

Switchboard Operator – Reading or Cardiff

This role will be supporting the wider team at Reeds Solicitors LLP and other customers of Rock Management Services, providing the first level of customer care. The role of the Switchboard operator is to be the first point of contact for the firm. This role is office based two days a week minimum and the successful candidate will be responsible to efficiently answer all incoming calls and directing queries to the appropriate person and to support the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house, on the days working in the office. This role can be based in the Reading or Cardiff offices.

Legal Assistant – Complex Crime

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Complex Crime department at one of our biggest clients, Reeds Solicitors LLP, with administrative duties and the day-to-day running of legal cases.

This is a hybrid-working role, with some office assistance required, ideally the candidate will be able to commute to one of our larger offices (Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Bristol, Cardiff, Milton Keynes).

This is a part-time fixed-term position which opens the door to work with our very experienced team dealing with high profile criminal matters. There may be scope to make the role permanent in due course.

Costs Draftsperson

We are looking for someone to join our in-house Family Legal Aid Billing Team, primarily responsible for the submission of both hourly rate and fixed fee claims via CCMS for all family work including Care proceedings, Other Public Law and Private law work. The role will also involve proactively supporting the fee earners and administration team with any Legal Aid funding queries, billing issues and to advise ad hoc on effective billing and time recording. Our aim is to add value to the billing process. The firm maintains a completely paperless environment so all cases and documentation is only available online.
